I've just purchased the Canon 55-250 IS lens to go with my new (still waiting for) 500d and haven't got my new polariser yet, but am a bit confused about how I'm going to use the polariser, as the end zoom part of this lens rotates when it autofocuses.
I don't want to stop using a polariser, but as I have never had a lens like this before, I'm not quite sure how it will work.
If I autofocus then rotate the polariser, will that damage the lens? I think my 18-55 IS kit lens is going to be the same too.
Sorry to sound so stupid!
