I agree about the aftermarket products....I have bought a few things that when compared to the genuine products are exactly the same. On the other hand i have also made a few mistakes trying to save money by buying generic products only for them to turn out to be only fit for the bin. I guess its a bit of a gamble buying on the internet, better to be able to handle before you buy. I feel you can tell weather a product is good quality just by the feel of it.
