Migrant Hawker Dragonfly by petrochemist
There was some stiff competition from a couple of lovely seascapes by Dave Wilson and Loose Canon, but this shot got the nod this week. I was very taken by the pose of the dragonfly, and the technique needed to get the eyes sharp. A good exposure, lovely balanced composition and a technically demanding hsot.
