Makes interesting reading. It is information that only a regular user of RAW files can comment on really as a lot seems to hinge on the number of bits 8, 12, 16. I do not have a cache of RAW files that will enable me to see the effect.
Obviously no real comparison pics can be posted as they would have to be JPG which is 8 bit.
