A DSLR would also entail lenses, new computer, software, scanner and printer.
I'll see how things go; give it a year, possibly (and improve my technique in the meantime). Then I'll buy the 'current' top of the range DSLR model for a song. All the used stock dumped by those who upgrade at every opportunity provides a good market.
