Mainly for Nigel or anyone else for that matter who knows about handheld airband scanners. I'm now spending a great deal of time at RAF Coningsby and Scampton and would like to purchase an airband scanner. Lokking on the net leaves me rather baffled. I know most of them are ok for airshows. Will be at RIAT for two days this year, so want o be prepared for both military and airshows. Don't want to spend a fortune ,but would like a decent one.
