Nothing like a challenge Nogbad.
The full size I like, aperture - exposure - lighting. The limited depth of field you have at this magnification has worked very well here.
With the real close up you are unable to isolate part of it sufficiently and so it seems to be more an exercise in how much small detail you can show. Hence my starter ... nothing like a challenge.
In this case I think the subject is very difficult to show of well at this level of magnification without resorting to Harrys multi points of focus stacking program.
