Mark On Photos

Does any one know why or how to get rid of dust spots that come out on every photo that i take? I have cleaned the sensor with a blower, but it still comes out. Hope this is simple to solve? any ideas would be helpful!!

If a blower isn't shifting the spots, then you may need to use one of the other methods involving a swab or brush. You'll find a variety of methods described here:

Persevere with the blower to begin with, you'll find you can shift some pretty stubborn bits if you get very, very close with the tip of the blower.

Hi LMC,
That's a real pain. What kind of blower you tried?
Rocket blowers seem to work way better than a blower brush (with brush removed). Would highly second Duncan's suggesting keep it try if possible, before using wet swab methods.
Don't use an aerosol!
Can remember a sending off a new Canon 5D body as the guy had used aerosol air and got propellant all over the sensor!...a real mess

Thanks, im using a rocket blower, im not sure how to use swabs, as am only just getting into digital photography, only had camera for 6mths. Have to take it to local camera shop & get them to show me how to clean it.

Some camera shops have senosr cleaning clinics, where they'll do it for you. I think both Calumet and Fixation have these.

Hi LMC, welcome to WPF. Duncan's link is the best there is in my opinion. Don't be afraid of using a swab, but use one as the last resort. Most stuff comes away with a determined blower, but if really stubborn then a swab or brush may be the only answer. I find a Sensor scope a must for looking at dirt, it helps you see what sort of debris is causing the problem.
