Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to combine images using PS 7? What I want to do is to insert parts of one image into another, clouds into a cloudless sky sort of thing.

Dan, I don't use PS7 anymore and can't remember whether there is a magic wand to pick the area you want to remove. Hopefully someone will be able to help soon.

Hi Dan. Don't know any web sites but try this:-
Open the image you want to copy. Lasso around the area you want to copy and, from 'Edit' pull-down click on 'copy'. Open the image you want to alter. From 'Edit' pull-down click on 'paste'. The copied image will automatically be put on a new layer. You'll need to make sure that the copied image is topmost layer. You can then play around with editing tools as need-be. The file can be saved as .psd so that the layers are retained, or saved as .jpeg, in which case you'll have both layers combined. |
