Default A little something for you Aircraft Enthusiasts

I have found this today while sorting out my husbands, late fathers belongings. I thought it may be of interest to any aircraft enthusiasts who are on here.

Thats exactly the info of interest. The wellington does seem to fly that fast so no doubt would have been heavily guarded by fighters. It must have taken hours and hours to complete a mission and been tough for the brave who flew them.

any of you read Neville Shute anymore? Early works unsophisticated but always include flying characteristics, should still be in scruffy 2nd hand shops..or my bottom shelf, send SAE

A real piece of history you have there Christine. I was surprised by the speeds and had similar thoughts to Stephen regarding the time it would have taken to have done a round trip in extemely stressful circumstances.

This is certainly not an item to be binned.
