Is anyone going to Focus on Imaging at the NEC in February. I went in 2006 when the digital buzz was at its height and lots of attendees were there.
Too crowded for my liking but did see some kit from manufacturers I would not have normally considered.

Focus 2006 was good for seeing all the latest and trying out some lenses on the Nikon stand. Take your own body and Nikon are quite happy to let you try anything on display. Quite amazed at the professional printers and other facinating bits like a Devere 5x4 enlarger converted to print digital files on old style photographic papers.
I have kindof believed my own publicity about price rises in the New Year so have spent 2009 money on a lens, but promised Stevie not to open the box until Thursday. ![]() So with nothing specific to look at we would only go if it was to meet other members. As our main route includes a large part of the A14 - it is 'nightmare city' traffic wise Monday to Saturday, so we would only really consider the Sunday. Don |
