Default Stitching Photos on the Web

Actually it's more than stitching, this offering by MicroSoft tries to patch your photos into a 3-D montage.

They say "Photosynth takes your photos, mashes them together and recreates a 3D scene out of them that anyone can view and move around in."

I have only tried one experiment so far with 9 shots over the front of a church, but it works well. My son has successfully linked 50 shots which take you on a walk around a public statue.

Not suggesting it's serious photography, but it's fun!
