POTW Sunday 7th July 2013
My choice for Sun 7th July 2013
This week I have chosen 'Common Blue Butterfly' by Foxydave. It has perfect sharpness over most of the butterfly but the depth of focus has nonetheless given the background a wonderful bokeh. Also I enjoyed seeing the detail of the striped antennae and of course the splash of deep pink gave an added interest to the picture.  For me it was a tough week to pick just one. I started with nine shots in a shortlist and whittled them down using shamefully trivial excuses. My final three apart from the winner were; Peter Waites with his XK140 Jag and Cashie with an uncommonly well captured Common Frog. Thanks to all posters and well done Dave.
