Raw in Photoshop
I occasionally used raw with my Canon 400D with out any issues as far as I remember.
Last week I upgraded to the 50D still getting my head round it but not that much different to use. My problem is this when I go to Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 or in fact 6 & try & open raw files straight from my card in elements it says cannot open because it is wrong file type I did check for updates Am I doing something stupidly wrong here like I say it wasn't a problem before & if I go to Canons supplied Digital Photo Professional it open up the raw file Thanks for any help or advise Cheers Ian

Although you checked for updates, that will just check for updates to the version number you have installed. You probably need to download the newest version of ACR which will cover the latest camera releases.
