| Fortnightly challenge. I was looking at the number of views for each challenge and it appears that these go into the hundreds. This is, I know, just one way that users of the forum can interact with each other but why, I wonder, do so few people vote? Glenys |

Is it because perhaps they think that only those that entered, vote. Another way of putting it is ' I didn't enter so I won't vote'. I think that the competition is a nice challenge, perhaps in the coming weeks more people will enter and with a little nudge more people will vote. Hope so.

A tip that may help is that when the challenge setter adds the poll, they put a post in the thread to say that the poll is now open. Without this, it doesn't show up and people don't see that they have the chance ot vote.

I've also found that adding an image to the gallery along the lines of "fortnightly challenge poll now open" can give a spurt of votes. I've attached the one I used in case anyone wants to use it in the future?

And if, in the text description for the gallery posting with the "advert" image you add a link to the thread where people vote, it will make member's lives easier.
