I have been using an Innoplus for the past 2 years. At the time it was the most suitable on the market but now I would probably go for the Epson with its superior screen resolution. Having said that I have no intention of changing, being satisfied with the Innoplus. The screen is reasonable and my main reason for having that versus a portable hard drive is so I can see the images I have downloaded thereby ensuring they are there. (seeing is believing) Simply remove the cf card from the camera (Canon) and pop it into the Innoplus-wait a few minutes and hey presto, they're saved. Check on the screen, clean your card and off again.
I keep 3 1gb cards so mostly can download at night on the mains to save batteries but of course the opportunity is still there to use "on the run". Gerry |

Model no PT-300P 40 gb.
The main advantage over laptop is the compactness. Innoplus fits in your pocket (14cmx9cmx3cm) and I find 40gb to be loads even though I take all images in raw giving approx 150 per 1gb card. Gerry. |

I can recommend not buying anything with 'Transcend' written on it. I had a 20 gb card storage thing from them that worked for exactly one day. Then it would only work off mains without recharging, then it didn't work at all.
