As Rob says in post #4, the biggest problem with inkjets is clogging due to infrequent use. Prices in India will be very different to the prices here in the UK, so I suggest you do your own local research there. As a general rule, equivalent models from different brands will cost roughly the same. The more you pay, the better you get.

Hi all, I rarely print, but when I do I have always used Epson. The reason is very simple, when in the bobbies we ran tests to find what we could call a "Bobby Proof" printer - bored men and women on nights like taking things apart to find out how they work. Epson printers were the only ones we could get working again after such explorations - even when we found we had bits left over, somehow they still worked LOL
