If I had the money I would get the 7D, the 60D does not have micro adjust so if you have any lenses that are out a fraction your going to have to send them away for calibration

Nothing beats the 7D image quality, in my opinion. I sold my 5D as well, just wasn't using it much at all. I know a few folks who swear by the 7D for sports (car racing, BMX, etc) and that use it exclusively for film...if that's ever anything you're interested in doing.

I like the 7D. Totally agree that it is only limited by you and your lens quality. I also know a lot of filmmakers who use it consistently now, if you're ever interested in the moving picture aspect.
It's solid too. I have heard some say that it gets overheated easily, but they were filming so maybe that's where the problem came from. |

I did my decision long time ago and I can only agree with all above. Thanks for your help everyone. Actually - never tryed the film part yet.... what a shame!!! Something to try now in Dolomites this long weekend. It is said to be HD....

I already own the 40D that serves me well so for video I went for a dedicated HD camcorder and glad I did, this thing is wicked
