Like the adaptor rings you can use to fit Nikkors to Canon bodies??
Latest news putting the 'D80' at $899 seems to confirm it's place in the market - tweaked D70s with 10.2mp - a bit faster all round and a few design changes. Sassan - I enjoy discussing equipment - don't know much but I know what I like!! |

Apparently the new camera will be designated D80, this designation has been buzzing around for a few days but I have now found some photos (assuming they are not fake!)
http://kenrockwell.com/nikon/d80.htm It looks like it has an SD memory card hatch to the side. It would be an ideal second body for my D2X if it used CF but then I am sure Nikon would rather me buy a D200 as a second body that used CF.

My camera uses both CF & SD, simultaneously if the fancy takes you, Raw on one, jpeg on the other, though I never bother preferring Raw only. My point is that the SD is ALWAYS used in preference till it is full then I will change over to the CF. The SD is much faster especially when you d/l to the PC. A 1gb Sandisk EXIII will download in around 2 mins, the same CF card 4-5 mins
