costs nowt to try except using up 30 day ration of Capture 4.4
from the way my GraphicConverter (mac) handles things, RAW is a generic type of file certainly inclusive of NEF, which I tried and possibly others unless a particular manufacturer is being really blood-minded Maybe less relevent, but Nikon Edit, which is a lesser form of Capture 4 works better on Panasonic files (jpg&tif) from my FZ than it ever did on the E4500 files; possibly more a function of file size expectation. It is also a freebie and includes small RAW processing section. I have no RAW files to try on it, but if you want to send me one Pete, send me PM and i will give you an e-mail address |

You could also try downloading the latest free copy of Adobe's DNG converter and converting a copy to the DNG raw format and then opening it in CS and see if that works.
