Darren, you could get in touch with your local adult education centre and see what courses they offer. I doubt if you'll get any specifically aimed at macro, but I recently finished a course which was very much geared up towards people who were looking to turn professional.

I did a City and Guilds Level 2 for about £250. Not bad for a full academic year of tuition.

You could try a professional institute like the BIPP, SWPP or one of the others (there are a few....). They all have training courses for all levels. You would probably have to join but would get mentoring and can work towards a professional membership. It may work out cheaper than a college course (I haven't done the math).

Good luck
