Default Background screens

I am thinking seriously about venturing as a mobile portrait photographer in the local area but I need a background screen. I just wondered if anyone has any advice on the subject and equipement required including costs.

I will send this link for you to look at what most professionals use.
Good quality kit, see what you think while I also try to come up with sensible info.

Hi Stephen,

I am with Don on this one, I have 2 lastolite backgrounds plus a few reflectors from when I was doing a lot of portraiture - they are light, compact and quick to set up / take down.

An excellent product and one I would highly recommend.

Hi Stephen.
As I am away tonight - Thursford Spectacular - brilliant show and will not be able to get back to you until tomorrow if you have further questions.
So I have posted some info in the ' flash ' thread in General Photography Technique to keep you going.

Apart from backgrounds the biggest consideration will be lighting.

The Warehouse link will also get you some costs.

Don
