Just bought a gorillapod today, what a versatile piece of kit. has any one else got one of these wonder jobbies, and your opinion?

Will do Sharon, but from just messing around about the house I've yet to find a chair, table leg standard lamp it wont attach to. Regards John

Last time visiting zoo, didn't see one.
Looks effective.
Any one knows can confirm much it weights, what is the supporting weight and how reliable it is?

UK television morning show GMTV did a feature on them not that long ago....we sold out within the week!...only just getting them back in again.

Great items, but I can't help thinking that different colour schemes would make the pod more attractive to look at (if I were being over critical)

I tried one at the Focus on Imaging Birmingham NEC, it was incapable of holding my 10D + battery pack and 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Probably ok for such as the 400D or Olympus E-400
