I'm looking forward to seeing your shots Christine. I have no complaints with my copy but then It's the first macro lens I've had.

Tim,just waiting for some sunshine ,and NO WIND!!!!.Made the mistake of taking this lens to a Burns night do.Had to go too far back.Took a couple of close ups of the dog ,quite good. But bought it because i want to take some shots of butterflies and dragonflies.Due to mob probs I am unable to get low down, etc,so have to stand close up,which does scare the subjects. So I am hoping with this lens,I can keep my distance, but still manage a decent close up .Seems a good lens, focus good, quiet, and easy to use.
