Congratulations Joe. Fitted the theme perfectly, knew it was going to be up in the front runners as soon as I saw it.

Thanks guys, and thanks to others who left comments.....
a win on the forum! oouh
Did I not draw with you though Duncan? (is it 'cos you is a moderator??!)

Was a shame there weren't more entries and more voters generally.
Also, does anyone else notice other new photos entered on the gallery that would fit perfectly into the monthly comp' themes, but never get entered?.......anyhows....

thanks again
Joe

Couldn't agree more Joe. I find it strange, and disappointing, that more people don't vote in the monthly comps. Voting is completely anonymous - not even mods can see who's voted for what, requires little effort, there is no need for any voter to justify their decision.

There are typically around 100 members log on within any single 24 hour period, yet we rarely get more than 40 votes and this month we only got 25. I suppose it is "silly season" as we call it at work, with large numbers of people away on holiday, which may be the reason for this month's low turnout.

Anyone got any ideas about how we can encourage voting?

D.

Congratulation Joe, it was a very well thought out and executed photo and spot on for the competition theme.
