Smile We never had it so good

I 'm off to Scotland for 3 weeks, taking camera, walking boots, 2 dogs and my 2 legged bag carrier, who I am afraid has become redundant. Before the digital revolution I would take 3 SLR bodies, 2 compacts for backup, plus lenses and filters, 6x6 Mamayaflex with lenses and Benbo tripod. Now it is a Ricoh G100 and a walking stick that converts to a monopod.
The walking stick was my best buy this year, only £10 from Amason. It opens up about 41/2 feet which is OK because the Ricoh has a waist level viewfinder, just like my old Mamayaflex.

Assuming your two legged bag carrier is your wife or partner you had better not tell her she is redundant or you will be in big trouble! I am sure with enough effort you can think of some other use! Have a good time and post some shots.
