I have been running ie7 rc1 for a while now with no problems. I like it better than ie6 and have no problems updating my web site. I certainly have not experienced any slow down in performance.

I have been using IE7 for some time I found no real problems so far. I like the new features. Its a much more friendly interface.

Why not add the ftp site to 'my network places'.

Things have moved on since the original post. IE7 is now available for download - as the finished article. I have noticed it slows my office PC and my laptop but this is only when IE7 is running. Like all MicroSoft products the next is always more memory hungry than the last.

I like IE7 and its on all PC's that I use, I have had no detrimental operation whatsoever.

I have had no problem at all i would say it is a great impovement you must not download it and say i dont like it and delete it ! give it a fair trial !but of course differant systems may get problems but i would not know about that,cheers.Tony.

A good point well made, Tony.

After pro FireFox posts earlier in this thread, I tried it - some things I liked other things I disliked so I removed it, favouring IE7.

Its personal choice.
