Default Monksell

Not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes. Has anyone heard of or had dealing with Monksell (www.monksell.com) . They are a Chinese (don't laugh) website selling camera equipment (as well as other gear) for very ( and I mean very) good prices. I am just wondering if they are a scam

Thanks

Michael

Old (but Oh so very true) saying, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is".

I used to go down the "save a few ponds" (or sometimes even a lot of pounds) route, but after many instances of poor (or non-existent) customer support, I now pay that little bit extra, get my kit from established sources and have great piece of mind.

No google pagerank and no backlinks means the website has not been around very long, maybe because they keep changing servers to avoid being traced.

The fact that they only accept bank transfers and western union payments means you should avoid them like the plague.
