Default photography courses

Hi guys

I have been a keen photographer for some time, the time has come that i would like to learn more and look to making some money from my hobby.

I am interested in doing a photography course online, and have found a couple that look like they could suit my needs.

My question is, do these courses look worthwhile. Has anyone completed any of these courses. which one looks the best. do you know of a better one, or any other options i could consider.

I'd say you'll get much more out of an adult education course face-to-face. There's many courses available at a range of times of the day, usually run by your local council adult education department. Find one that suits your schedule and sign up to it. City and Guilds do some courses specifically geared up towards people looking for a future career in photography.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am not sure what kind of photography i would like to specialize in yet. I love taking portrates, but also like to get out and about too, so im unsure really.

I have already started an evening class which lasts for 10 weeks. It is pretty basic, but im still learning alot, i am also going to sign up for the follow up course which lasts for 8 weeks. Just unsure where to go after i've finished these.

You may be more sure once you have finished both the courses and find your self attracted to explore further some particular aspect of photography.
