Default Exif Viewer

I have recently been having trouble with some websites not loading properly in Chrome, including Paypal, & Asda online shopping (no bacon & eggs, or beer & wine for Clive ) although they loaded fine in Firefox.

I switched to Chrome about 12 months ago as I think its faster so suspecting a plugin might be the culprit, this evening I've been going through my Chrome plugins & eventually tracked it down to Exif Viewer by Aruna - disabling the plugin & my websites started loading properly again. Reading the reviews https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d.../reviews?hl=en it seems a number of other users had been having similar problems

I do like to be able to view exif data, & while you can used Jeffrey Friedl's page http://regex.info/exif.cgi its a pain having to coopy & paste an image URL.

So browsing the Chrome extension store I tried Exif Viewer by Rodrique https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...oiekndck?hl=en and its even easier to use - just hover your mouse over an image & the exif data appears. You can customise what data is reported & if you want it in a tabular form rather than linear, just add <br> between tags on the options template.

Slick

Thanks very much Clive. I have Google Chrome "on trial" use it for opening links but I don't like the adverts.
I mainly use IE 11 from start up and prompted by your post I found IExifBHO which works with that quite well.
I wouldn't have thought of looking without your prompting so thanks again.

Excellent Clive I have such faith in you that I downloaded it without any checks and now I'm responding on Chrome without seeing any adverts. Brilliant! Thanks.

..and a thanks from me too. I have been missing the exif data that used to be available here. The Chrome add-on helps.
