WINDOWS 10 Advice Please

They did bring XP up to date and called in Win7. I still keep Win 7 on a second drive. However Win 8 IMO was a complete disaster. I would suggest that you persevere with Win 10. I've been running W10 for over a year now and find it excellent.

Also I find there are lots of Apps on this computer that I don't use or want to use but wonder if deleting them will cos any problems. I removed all the Apps that I did not want, (probably in the region of 90% of them) I also removed all the tiles, but did not go as far as 'Classic Shell' I'm very happy with the OS.

You definitely should. Less crashes and less buggy problems to deal with.

Windows 10 does include some pretty useless features by default though so you'll just have to hunt them down and disable them. Shouldn't be a problem for you!
