Wheeler, you are more than welcome to share photos in our gallery, perhaps enter our competition which has no theme this month so aviation photos are entitled to enter.

I'll have to post one of mine to Mike Maloney to see what rubbish he speaks. What did you post?

Airliner, Military Jet, Warbird or a light aircraft?

I haven't posted anything to Mike Maloney. After seeing him describe a photo of one of the Utt Butts taken at around 1/1000 as "capturing the action" (action's about motion, not about freezing everything) I decided he didn't have a worthwile opinion to offer about aviation photography. Experience says that he's firmly in the pinsharp prop appreciation club.

He's a very talented photographer, but clearly tastes differ. My key interest is fungi, especially rare species. I've seen magazines tell people to do exactly the opposite of what I regard as good. Who is right? I stick to what I like, and make no subjective comments.

Leif, I'm happy to appreciate others' views but this is clearly not a subject that Mike specialises in. It doesn't really bother me that my taste differs but I don't need to spend money just to remind myself of that. In my opinion, forums such as this provide far more interest that buying AP.
