Default Potw 13/3/16

Apologies a little early (approx 2hrs) I am picking potw as I am up and off early tomorrow so wan't have any other time to do it. Mention this week goes to Gidders shot Envoironment shot of the butchers and also his Panorama of Ullswater I love the narrow stitch touch of snow and light. But the winner this week is MBKamrani with his shot of a nuthatch. Looked real sharp and clear, shot with the 100-400 L lens which clearly gives great results. I'd maybe leave a little more space in front of the bird when you cropped it but a great shot with a nicely OOF background.

Thanks a lot Ade G
The only L series lens I had before is a 70-200 F4 , recently I got a 100-400 and my aim for a tight crop on this shot just was to show the great image quality of this nice lens by cropping a larger part from the main shot , but agree with you for more space in front of the nuthatch.
If you see bird forum my cropped shot there is exactly that you suggested . it might be interesting for you that in /Opus/section of Bird Forum this shot is selected for introduction of a nuthatch .
Thanks a lot again , best wishes and regards , mo
