Kodachrome Discontinued
Kodak announced today, because of dwindling demand, it would end production of Kodachrome color film after the current production run ends.
A spokeserson stated that supplies would probably last until fall unless there was hoarding. Last edited by Bruce Carson; 23-06-09 at 13:42. Reason: additional info.

No more bluey greens and greeny blues! It's never been as good as the old Kodachrome 11 as far as I could see

I've still got a few useable Kodachrome X and Kodachrome II slides taken nearly 40 years ago, had many published over the years. Was a good film in it's day until Fuji came along and blasted them with Velvia and Sensia. Now it's digital, doesn't have the same punch though.
