Thank Mike, this seems to be a relatively painless way around the problem. Pick the 1st letter of the member's name from the alphabetical list at the top, sort the results in alphabetical order...... find the member.

Hi Mike, yes you can do that - but not everyone has a photo to click on and without one your sunk apart from going through the index. The original point from this thread was that we used to be able to get to see a members gallery from the Forum, now HOME page, which we no longer seem to be able to do.

Andy, perhaps I'm missing something, but no photo to click on surely means no photos, therefore no gallery.
It took me just four clicks from Home page to seeing your gallery.
Update: Sorry Andy, I've just noticed that some forum member's galleries do not have photos.

but at one point, if i wanted to, i could click your name and see your gallery.
it was an action i used and there seemed no reason to remove it!

Andy, this was the case under the old system too. No photos means no gallery postings regardless of how you get there. Use the Member's Gallery alphabetical search, it's not difficult.

Duncan, the member I clicked when testing was Christine - "Saphire" Having gone the way as described above there was no thumbnail to click on and I KNOW she has a cracking gallery ???

I don't believe there is any technical reason why a link to your gallery uploads shouldn't be accessed via the drop-down menu when you click on a members username in a forum post.... so I'll try to get our tech to do something.
As for having a link in your forum profile, I'm not so sure.

cheers,
Andy

There should now be links to people's galleries (and gallery profiles) in both the drop down menu you get when you click a user's name on a post and in the last 'sidebar' block on a user's profile.

Thanks,

Ollie
