Default Mouse Usage

For some time know I've been experiencing acute pain when using the mouse.

The pain in the back of my hand when using a conventional mouse has got so bad when using a mouse for just few minutes.
So bad that when I saw an advert for a vertical mouse I decided I must try one. The price range is anywhere between £14 & £60, not knowing if one of these mice would work for me I bought one for £16.
The difference is amazing as I can now use the mouse for extended periods of time with just mild discomfort.

Maybe as the weather warms up I may start editing a few photo's.

CharlesI bought a cheap one mainly to see if they are any good. Result for me was extremely good, so in the next few days I'll buy one of the more expensive mice.
I didn't mention in my first post that I also have problems with my wrists the vertical mouse has also helped in this area.

Here's a vidio of one in use.

Thanks for that - I'd never heard of vertical mice before. I assumed that your post was leading up to a trackball, which I've tried and didn't get on with.
