Default Help RAW

Hi,

When I edit photos directly from the RAW file and than save them to jpeg (on the screen they look the same) but when I publish them online they appear in their original look, like they were shot, without any changes.

I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS4

Can you guys help me to figure out what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Could you give a more detailed breakdown of EXACTLY what you are doing? How are you opening files, how are you saving files?, ...... etc. It's a bit difficult to give any advice from the information you've given.

I open the files with Camera Raw, save them to PSD apply some minor changes like levels after that I apply Alien Skin Exposure 2 - Kodachrome 64 filter, after that I save the changes to the PSD and I make a jpeg copy 600x400 quality 8. The files look exactly the same on the screen but everytime I upload them online they "lose" the level changes, kodachrome filter, etc.

What are your colour management settings? It could be that your jpegs are being squeezed into sRGB colour space, when you are working with the originals, you may be working in a much bigger space such as AdobeRGB.

That looks fine to me, I don't think that's your problem.

In "Camera Raw" what are your settings ?

What you have shown is the Photoshop setting with will preserve the profile in the file passed to it from "Camera Raw"

See attached for CS3
