Can I ask how many people are involved in the selection of the Photo of the week?

Good as it is, I find it incredulous that this image is chosen over ANY of the following 3 images:

http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...hp?photo=35616

http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...hp?photo=35579

http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...hp?photo=35556

I showed the latter to my colleagues at the camera club when it was posted and the feeling was it would be very highly placed (or win) almost any competition in which it was placed.

To be honest I think POTW is a joke. Sorry, but this is my opinion.

They are all very good photos, including POTW. I am surprised nobody who choses POTW has answered this but I know it has been discussed before.

At the end of the day it comes down to choice and somebody has to make that choice. There will always be discussion and disagreement about what is a very subjective decision.
