Default POTW 10th Feb

Again a difficult call this week with three very different images making my final three but my choice this week is: -

Good Owl Hunting by Paullangford

Although maybe not quite as bitingly sharp as some of the other wildlife shots this week, I love the warmth of the light and atmospheric quality of the shot.
I also love the composition where Paul has resisted the temptation to put the owl in the centre of the frame so that it is looking into the picture, hunting
for its next victim. Great shot Paul

Also on my shortlist were Seiko Solar by Postcardv & Green Door by birdsnapper

Superb shot - I agree with Clive that the placing of the owl, looking and flying into the frame, is spot on. Love the light, love the mood.

wonderful shot...congrats.
It is nice seeing different people choosing POTW and why they chose them.

I would still like to see these POTW images added to the gallery section...what is the hold up? not everyone looks in the Home page section.

I am so surprised you took the time, not only to look at my postings, but also to pick one as Photo of the Week.

I'm glad people like it, it was a special morning for me being there, and the recognition from you and your members of this forum means a great deal to me, it really does.

Thank you everybody

Paul

Beautiful shot - it's the composition that does it form me.

Just a thought - maybe the winner could post to the gallery.

Default Blow Me!!

You can't can you? Nearest thing is "Competition Entries" - not the same.
I'd not looked before. So now - Site Managers please unlock category POTW so winners can post if they wish.
