Default save photos from Lumix viewer to CD

HI,
I have a new Panasonic Lumix LX3 and I want to download my photos onto the lumix viewer which came with it. The problem is that I already have a previous version of the viewer installed for my Panasonic Z50 and apparently they are not compatible so I have to uninstal the old one and instal the new one. No problem, except I have a lot of photos in the old version and I will lose them all when I uninstal. I don't want to print them yet but does anyone know how to save them?
Cheers
Russell

Hi Russell, welcome to the forum. I think that you'll find that your photos are stored on your computer's hard drive independent of the viewer, which is just a way of looking at the photos. Somebody on the forum with a bit more technical savvy that me will probably be able to confirm or deny this.
