I was wondering if the non bird photo posting has reduced on birdforum since this site opened?

On the gallery home page toady all entries when I visited were birds this is the first time I recall seeing it like this!

Old habits die hard, Jon.lol

I think the advice from Andy is a good reminder:

'Remember that we do have the gallery at birdforum for photos of wild birds and animals, WPF isn't an overspill gallery for Birdforum, but one where we hope you will show your non-bird photos.' http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...hread.php?t=35

Im sure in time the balance will be found.

I will continue to post all my bird shots on Bf and keep this Forum for non birding shots, and also birding shots which are banned from BF,ie "safe" shots of birds in nests etc.

I'm trying hard to find any non-bird shot on my pc which I could post here (was reduced to posting a shot of a bird reserve yesterday.)
Memo to self - take photos of things other than birds

Snap Christine thats what I am doing. The two photo's of the golden eagle I couldn't post as they are captive birds. It was nice to know I could show them off.

Yes Sapphire me too. I would say that one third of my bird photography includes photos of ornemental wildfowl, photos not allowed on bf.
I would hope that the inspiration from this site will open peoples eyes to the wider world around them. I know it is doing with me.

I have the same sort of problem. Almost all bird pictures. I do at least have a few wildflower, ammmal and reptile shots. Not many though. I really must push the wildflower side of my hobby.
