Default POTW Sunday, July 10, 2016

This was a very interesting week in as much as the discussion about how the POTW is done. So I am going to try something new. I am going to pick my favorite for POTW and a Honorable Mention. So here goes.

My short list this week is actually a little longer than most are. John and Me with Take 2, Tugboat with Old Sunrise, Sheri with Rosefinch, Marydoll with The Sky was Alive, John and Me with Great Orme, Robski with Common Blue, and DaveT47 with Did you Say Something.

My choice for Photo of the Week is Take 2 by John and Me. It was suggested that he crop out a few partial bales of hay and I agreed with that. Once he did the crop it looked fantastic and is like one member said a Professional shot.

For the Honorable Mention it was a lot tougher and came down to two, one I am seeing a lot of improvement and the spunk of somebody who keeps trying and keeps improving, the second is a person who is always out there and comes home with some fantastic shots.

Marydoll and DaveT both get the Honorable Mention. Marydoll your THE SKY WAS ALIVE is much improved and just needs a little more tweaking. DaveT I loved the timing and patience it took to get the shot in DID YOU SAY SOMETHING, the colors were fantastic and the composition was almost spot on.
