If I was in charge of them you'd have the sun moving all over the place at weekends, setting in the north at lunchtime from one viewpoint then setting again 20 degrees over 10 minutes later...
While the timing doesn't make things easy to get the sunset exactly where you want I guess nature does a better job than I'd manage.
Even with control of the sunsets I 'd find it hard to beat your first shot!

photos at sunset and sunrise come out best. You can't take pictures in the east or sunset
