Default POTW 22nd Oct

Sorry for the lateness of this, 32 to choose from this week, My choice for this week is Aqil Ahmad Sharifuddeen shot called Nectar. An unusual bird on an unusual plant, I don't mind the fact the wings are not sharp as this implies movement, the body, eye & relevant plant appear sharp. Difficult to know what the background was (maybe the sky) but the fact it is plain means it does not distract from the subject. The whole image could maybe have the exposure pulled back a bit but I like the image as a whole.
