Default Personal Current Gallery Favourite.

For the background to this thread see my post in WPF Censorship - POTW

A snippet of that post here ............ This would allow any member to post a link to ONE IMAGE that they feel worthy of note from " The Most Recent Photos " in any of the catagories. I realize that images in some catagories will span quite some time but hey-ho you have to start somewhere if this is what you want. Thereafter individual member submissions should be at least one week apart.
There does however need to be one rule. Respect for the posters Critique or No Critique before posting any comment as to that selection. The odds are that these choices could be as contraversial is POTW.
It would be up to the person chosing the image if they wanted to expand on the reasons for their choice.

My nomination as my current favourite is

Don, I like this idea.

Having been through the last seven days postings I quite quickly got down to a choice between two. Now it is sooooo tempting to cheat and post links to both (and I'm sure that someone will before too long ), but on the basis that sitting on the fence hurts your bum

My nomination is

Thanks for joining in Clive and refraining from cheating by posting 2 links. I viewed the voting on this months comp which gave me the idea. It will be interesting to see the width of the spectrum of images chosen.

You must have been reading my mind Don..I almost beat you to it..anyway..here's my choice for this last week..http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...68&limit=last7
I thought it was very atmospheric, could almost smell the aroma; however I agree with some of the critique about cropping the bottom 1/5th. Good call on the thread & a shot I really liked..

There are a couple I would list but John Crossley's Chapel image if I was hard pushed and had to pick one. Great wide angle work and Post Processing.

Jamie

Interesting that you should choose that - when I said I had come down to two - it was your shot and John's shot that were the two

After trawling my preferred areas of landscape and seascape, am very impressed with this one of Deefer's

I previously chose mine and John's Saltaire Chapel is still my selection.

Tough choice but ................

As my first choice for this week is Digital Art, which is way beyond my level of understanding but not appreciation, I am going to break my own rule of ONE image and also post a link to my second favorite.
