Default Good site?

After 2 years of mobile internet (dead slow, works if and when it feels like) I have at long last got broadband.
So what I want to know is do you know any good photography sites that you think are worth looking at? Open to any ideas. I know Google it, dont always find the good stuff that way.
Thanks for any help.

Try:- 1x.com

Beautiful photos at a standard that I couldn't even dream of reaching.

x1... What a depressing website. Just when you think you're getting to grips with photography, you find a website with thousands of pages of work that stomps yours into the ground.

Great to look at, but stops me in my tracks when I think about buying any more gear... The thought "Why bother?" keeps echoing in my mind.

Takahashi.
I know how you feel about 1x. Problem is its not all about the gear. For me it helps to have something to look up to, reach for. Even if no hope of getting that good.
As for "why bother" photography is a fun hobby that I enjoy, don't have to be great at it.
Hope your not to depressed.

Takahashi, you've expressed exactly how I feel about 1x. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

just had a quick look at that site, fantastic landscapes way out of my reach ...but some inspiring abstract shots, I might be able to have a go at when I'm doing nothing!!!
