Emmmmm - Last week they were showing Viking 1Gb for £27.

I may of bought @ £16 for the hell of it as I was ordering some spare batteries for the 20D.

I bought a Viking 256Mb from them a few years ago. It was OK no problem but slow by todays standards. I suspect the 1GB will be very slow as their 512mb is more expensive. Unless that is going to drop in price too.

Download speed will be the main issue unless your taking 3 fps all the time.

I bought a x50 Kingston Elite Pro 1Gb via ebay from a guy in croydon for £32 inclusive of vat & pp which arrived within 2 days.

No, but I would be concerned that 7dayshop have no customer support phone number.

It is worth looking at the read and write speeds. When transferring large numbers of files from the card to your PC, the speed can make a huge difference in the transfer time.

I bought a 2GB iPro card from davoom. It seems good.

"I would be concerned that 7dayshop have no customer support phone number."

You can always e-mail them.

"It is worth looking at the read and write speeds."

This where they are crafty and don't quote actual figures.

I suspect that at this price it is one of the first generation 1GB cards.

At that price i'm willing to take a gamble. I've just ordered mine. I'll let you know how I get on when it arrives.

After some experimentation I settled on Sandisk Extreme III cards. They're fast and reliable, I swear by them.

I found a place that sells them very cheaply http://www.photo-scotland.co.uk.

I use www.picstop.co.uk Not the cheapest but the P&P is cheap, which makes small value orders viable. Delivery is very, very fast. Excellent.

I had problems with trying to set set up the software for a USB card-reader bought from 7dayshop.com 3 years ago, and I was very pleased with their quality of support. One of their staff sent a replacement software copy and eventually spent a lot of time on the 'phone to talk me through the process, that eventually turned out to be my mis-understanding of the sequence of plug-and-play with W98se.
Needless to say that I am very impressed with the service (and particularly the prices!) of 7dayshop.com, therefore I have bought many items, especially when they have "a free postage" offer on.

I have no problems buying stuff from 7dayshop. Last year I bought my Canon 1.4x tc from them at a great price (£190 plus I claimed £35 back from Canon with a rebate voucher). I am at this moment waiting delivery of 10x42 waterproof binoculars from them.
