Default Probably a daft question

I need some help here please. I thought that I would back up my piccies on DVD instead of CD. I duly loaded some trial software and tried to do this.
Suffice to say I failed dismally.
So far I have tried Burn4Free, AVS and others. None seem to do that which I require.
Can anybody help me please ?

I use Burn4Free and find it very easy - where exactly are you having a problem?

Thank you all for your suggestions. I did try Burn4Free and it burnt the disc but when I replayed the disc I got absolutely nothing up on the screen.
I have found another piece of software called FinalBurner which worked for me so I have now managed to do it.
Thank you for your help.

Did you allow it time to 'finalize' the tracks - it does seem to sit doing nothing for a short while with '100% complete' showing leading one to think it's finished. By ticking the 'Eject when completed' box you can be sure it's done the job when the CD/DVD ejects automatically.

You are possibly correct Adey. I cannot remember how long I left it but it may have not been long enough.
