Default PIXMA problem! (printer)

MY canon PIXMA IP4200 is displaying the following when i try send anything to it : - (see screen dump attachment

obviously this is untrue, i bought a pack with all 3 CYM carts, official no refill, from our friends at jessops.

any ideas?!

Not sure what all that means Jamie how can you have two of the same colour unless one has the wrong chip on. I use compatible inks in my ip6700 and when it comes up with errors I just press OK on the printer and ignore it.

well, ive put all my emptys back in, and its giving me low ink warnings, and said the C was empty, so i put the newer ones in, so its not that one, its printing now (with dry cartridges!!)

as its saying theres more than one yellow in, in theory its the magenta!

im still none the wiser...

Have you tried cleaning the contacts, I still wonder whether one of the cartridges has the wrong chip on.

blasted contacts with comp. air. if its a wrong chip im gonna have to bin em! i got them at jessops, which is now gone!
