"Silver Eye" International Print Exhibition

Default "Silver Eye" International Print Exhibition

This “Silver Eye” International Print Exhibition will be held in the Robert Cross Hall at the Corn Exchange, Ipswich, Suffolk, from Tuesday 28 October to Saturday 8 November 2008. Opening hours are 1030 - 2000 except Saturday 1 November 0930 - 1930, Monday 3 November 1030 - 1700 and Saturday 8 November 0930 - 1700. The exhibition is closed on Sundays. The exhibition hall is is located at the centre of Ipswich. Further details may be obtained from The Open Photographic Society.

Photographers from numerous countries and continents have submitted a wide variety of work to give the exhibition an unusual and truly international flavour. The work of twenty-eight photographers from the UK, The Netherlands, Poland, Iran, The Falkland Islands, China, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Zambia, California, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Africa, Turkey, Norway and elsewhere is featured. Their exhibits include high-quality portraits and landscapes (both local and international), excellent underwater and wildlife pictures, fashion, figure and sports images, stunning macro-photography and creative digital work. Some remarkable computer-generated images are also included. Most of the exhibits, including panoramic images and some signed limited edition prints, will be offered for sale.

Admission is free, but money raised through print sales, sponsorship, and events in the hall, will be donated to charity.
